| @jesusthepsychic - asked, "Hey CatInMist! Lovely profile picture. Do you have any tattoos to show us (like Blythe)?" No, I do not have any tattoos. I have never found any image that I liked enough to permanently stain into my skin. Blythe and Sweets, on the other hand seem to frequently find many images they want around forever. Blythe has many tattoos. I may not remember them all. The koi pond scene is the largest one, thus far, she has some gray scale scenes on her upper right arm that look like Dante's hell dipictations, she has an ICP hatchet boy silhouette running on her knee, Rosie the Riveter on one leg, a colorful fairy that is struggling to separate herself from a plant on another shin. On the calf of either leg, she has two scary looking clowns trying to rip their way out of her legs. She has, her first tattoo, a little star on her chest. And she has another gray scale portrait of a woman facing despair, which I designed myself when she was three years old. I drew it when I was facing some pretty hard times and it symbolized my determination to rise above myself, but for her it symbolizes her survival of Hurricane Katrina. Sweets has five tattoos, a Celtic wrist band, a large ornate cross on her back, a scroll piece on her lower back, and two Chinese words on the tops of either foot, which hopefully do not say anything that she did not intend. She is waiting for me to design her next tattoo and I am waiting for the mood to strike me to get it done. Maybe I will start on that today, on this holiday, which I am hoping will not bring me more work to do at my job. I am also hoping to get around to visit some of my Xanga kin. Happy 4th of July, and a wish for Freedom to you all. | | |
| More Beautiful Women In My Family Blythe, my baby girl, my Pea.
She was a sweet baby
and a precocious child.
She is my bohemian daughter.
Who expresses herself freely and without apology.
And is a very deep thinker.
My niece, Anne, was a more proper child, but no less an inovative thinker.
She grows more beautiful with each day.
And she is patriotic, too.
Most of you know Sweets, whose beauty shines brighter with the happiness she is finding more and more each day. And Timiko, my son's girl-friend, who calls me mom and also shines in beauty that is within and without.

This is Marie, who gave birth to...
Anne...
Who grew and grew...
and grew. She gave birth to...
Catherine...
who was a fat baby that grew... and grew...
and gave birth to Sweets. Who was a very sweet baby that grew...
and grew...
and grew...
and grew. Until one day she gave birth to... And Danyale grows...
and grows...
more and more....
and more each day.
And she ties the present to the past.

Jason and Timiko being silly. Well, Jason is being silly and Timiko is just laughing about it.
My niece, Anne, an all American girl.
My sister and me, circa 1965, wearing my grandmother's lingerie. Yes, my Mimi, had some happening underwear. I am the one in white.
| Still Alive and Kicking I have been very busy with work and running the house lately, but I thought I would post some quick pictures. My Dawg rode out to California on a ten day ride in May. He said he wanted to ride out there, piss in the Pacific Ocean and then just ride back home again.
He camped out in the desert.
Rode for 12 hours a day.
He will tell you that he had a tooth knocked out by a Mexican, who defending his woman's honor because Dawg was flirting with her, but it was probably the just vibration of the bike that caused him to have to make an unexpected stop at the dentist in El Paso. He said, you should have seen the big eyed look on those little girls' faces when he came thumping in that office, leathered up, with his chains and all grimey from the road trip. He said, he stepped in their office, stopped at their looks, held up his hands and told them he wasn't going to hurt them because all he needed was for someone to look at the crown that had come loose while he was riding.
Finally, time to pee.
He also stopped by the Grand Canyon on his way home. I will share more pics later. Me?
I have a new lizard. Meet my bearded dragon, Pugsley.
